Dealing with a high volume of incoming and outgoing perishable goods, coupled with growing product lines and expanding dairy markets, presented several logistics challenges for Darigold. As part of its implementation of the Oracle® e-Business Suite, Darigold wanted to add radio - frequency (RF) mobile automation to better manage its inventory, replace the many manual processes on the plant floor and increase the labeling accuracy of its exported products. And as a food producer, Darigold’s goal was real-time inventory and lot traceability.
Deployment Summary
Darigold first deployed Gemini for OPM, which was closely followed by an implementation of CLM, and the company is also testing the Purchase Order Drop Ship module for future deployment with external supply chain partners.
